How To Install pci.ids on Kali Linux

This package contains the pci.ids file, a public repository of all known ID’s used in PCI devices: ID’s of vendors, devices, subsystems and device classes. It is used in various programs to display full human-readable names instead of cryptic numeric codes.
There are three methods to install pci.ids on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pci.ids Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install pci.ids using apt-get by running the following command:
