How To Install node-vows on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install node-vows on Kali Linux.
What is node-vows
node-vows is:
Node is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
Vows is a behavior driven development (BDD) framework for Node.
Vows was built from the ground up to test asynchronous code. It executes your tests in parallel when it makes sense, and sequentially when there are dependencies.
Emphasis was put on speed of execution, clarity and user experience.
This package contains the vows library for Node, and the script vows for running tests from the commandline.
There are three methods to install node-vows on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-vows Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-vows using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-vowsInstall node-vows Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-vows using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-vowsInstall node-vows Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-vows using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the node-vows package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-vowsUninstall node-vows And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-vows and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-vowsRemove node-vows Configurations and Data
To remove node-vows configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-vowsRemove node-vows configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
