How To Install netdata-apache2 on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install netdata-apache2 on Kali Linux.
What is netdata-apache2
netdata-apache2 is:
Netdata is distributed, real-time, performance and health monitoring for systems and applications. It provides insights of everything happening on the systems it runs using interactive web dashboards.
Netdata includes its own embedded webserver, by default listening on localhost only. To make netdata available to other users, a dedicated webserver such as apache should be used (with authentication and encryption).
This package contains the integration for the apache HTTP server.
There are three methods to install netdata-apache2 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install netdata-apache2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install netdata-apache2 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install netdata-apache2Install netdata-apache2 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install netdata-apache2 using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install netdata-apache2Install netdata-apache2 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install netdata-apache2 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install netdata-apache2How To Uninstall netdata-apache2 on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the netdata-apache2 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove netdata-apache2Uninstall netdata-apache2 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall netdata-apache2 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove netdata-apache2Remove netdata-apache2 Configurations and Data
To remove netdata-apache2 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge netdata-apache2Remove netdata-apache2 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove netdata-apache2 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
