How To Install libjs-jac on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libjs-jac on Kali Linux.
What is libjs-jac
libjs-jac is:
JSJaC is a jabber client library written in JavaScript to ease implementation of web based jabber clients. For communication with a jabber server it needs to support either HTTP Polling or HTTP Binding.
JSJaC has an object oriented design which should be quite easy to use. Communication is done by using the XML HTTP Request object also referred to as AJAX technology. Your browser must support this.
There are three methods to install libjs-jac on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libjs-jac Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-jac using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libjs-jacInstall libjs-jac Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-jac using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libjs-jacInstall libjs-jac Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-jac using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libjs-jacHow To Uninstall libjs-jac on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libjs-jac package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjs-jacUninstall libjs-jac And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libjs-jac and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjs-jacRemove libjs-jac Configurations and Data
To remove libjs-jac configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjs-jacRemove libjs-jac configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libjs-jac configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libjs-jacDependencies
