labrea is:

LaBrea takes over unused IP addresses, and creates virtual servers that are attractive to worms, crackers, and other denizens of the Internet.

The program answers connection attempts in such a way that the machine at the other end gets “stuck”, sometimes for a very long time.

There are three methods to install labrea on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install labrea Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install labrea using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install labrea

Install labrea Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install labrea using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install labrea

Install labrea Using aptitude
