How To Install google-wire on Kali Linux

What is google-wire

google-wire is:

Wire: Automated Initialization in Go

Wire is a code generation tool that automates connecting components using dependency injection. Dependencies between components are represented in Wire as function parameters, encouraging explicit initialization instead of global variables. Because Wire operates without runtime state or reflection, code written to be used with Wire is useful even for hand-written initialization.

This package contains the wire command-line program.

There are three methods to install google-wire on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install google-wire Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install google-wire using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install google-wire

Install google-wire Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install google-wire using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install google-wire

Install google-wire Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install google-wire using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install google-wire

How To Uninstall google-wire on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the google-wire package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove google-wire

Uninstall google-wire And Its Dependencies

To uninstall google-wire and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove google-wire

Remove google-wire Configurations and Data

To remove google-wire configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge google-wire

Remove google-wire configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove google-wire configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge google-wire
