How To Install findent on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install findent on Kali Linux.
What is findent
findent is:
Indents Fortran sources: free or fixed format. Optionally converts from fixed format to free format. Optionally generates dependencies for Make, based on definition and usage of modules. Supports Fortran2008. Indentation is controlled by a number of flags. Easy integration with (g)vim, gedit, emacs.
wfindent is a wrapper for findent and facilitates in-place indenting of Fortran sources.
There are three methods to install findent on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install findent Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install findent using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install findentInstall findent Using apt
